Having a healthy diet from an early age allows better academic development which entails a future with more opportunities, according to experts gathered by Action Against Hunger who have denounced that unemployed people have a greater risk of suffering worse health (physical and mental) due to having a poor diet compared to those who they have a job.
This is the main conclusion collected by Ep of the ‘Dialogue on Healthy Eating and Employment’ recently organized by this entity. “Children who grow up in poverty suffer irreparable scars. A healthy diet at an early age allows better academic development and, thus, a future with more opportunities. On the other hand, an inadequate diet prevents this development
