Bone marrow cells regenerate the brain after a stroke

Stroke patients may be able to reduce the size of the injury by using a bone marrow cell injection. The first results of a clinical trial conducted on 37 patients and published in “Stem Cells Translational Medicine” provide evidence that this therapy could potentially change the brain health of millions of stroke patients.
