These are the words of Macarena Fernández, mother of a ten-year-old boy with brain damage acquired since 2015, who this week has become the first patient in a pioneering clinical trial in Spain, at the Niño Jesús Hospital, with which he intends to improve the quality of life of these little ones through the infusion of mother cells through the spinal cord.
