Dua Lipa’s 3D manicure gives Zenon: 21st Century Girl

Since February, Dua Lipa looked like a walking disco ball to her thanks to her costume changes on stage nostalgia of the future Trip. Despite the singer’s busy schedule, she still managed to share a few off-stage moments with her millions of Instagram fans. As important as touring is to her, so are her duties as an aunt, which she opened up about on May 17 with an Instagram carousel of her holding an adorable baby. As we cooed over the baby’s chubby cheeks, we couldn’t help but notice the “Don’t Stop Now” singer’s funky 3D manicure.

The third and fifth photos of the post give a glimpse of those square tips. Each nail was coated in an iridescent yellow-green hue more reminiscent of an alien metal than nail polish. Far from simple, this monochromatic manicure looks even more creative with the raised, textured blobs on each nail. It’s hard to see what exactly these blobs are made of or even if they have a specific shape or design, but they make this manicure look like an abstract work of art. In fact, these nails give us some of our own “future nostalgia”. While futuristic, it also reminds us of the Disney Channel original film and the Y2K throwback Zeno: 21st Century Girl. Our girl Zenon would definitely have rocked this mani at a Proto Zoa concert.
