From more established names like Sandro and Maje to younger, Instagram-hyped labels like Elleme and MaisonCléo, the French fashion landscape has undeniably transformed over the past decade. Former journalist Gaelle Drevet opened The Frankie Shop in 2014, initially as a boutique on New York’s Lower East Side, offering a specially curated selection of emerging labels. In 2017, the brand then opened its second headquarters in Paris before finally launching its own ready-to-wear collection. The designs became an instant hit in the fashion world.
