Regardless of the age of our children, they always manage to surprise us positively, inspire us or teach us differently. Parents in the community shared the moments they love most about parenting.

Maybe it’s the loving hug when the little one is picked up from daycare or the big kiss we get when we say goodbye. Maybe it’s even playing with rubber ducks and other toy figures in the evening bath – at least when the offspring wants to get out of the hot water without drama at the end. There are so many moments that make parenting so special. Little things, milestones in our children’s development. Parents have shared what they love about parenting in our community.

Little things with a big impact

As parents, we are reminded every day why we chose our children and what an enrichment they are in our lives. And if it’s just the gleeful laughter after we’ve had a prank at the table that lightens the whole mood. Children sometimes have an almost magical charisma, simply because they go through life so uninhibited. And parents notice it again and again:

Every day is a gift

There are so many moments that could make it into the parenting collection. The excited chatter when the little ones start talking. The fun questions that draw our attention to what these little heads have already thought. The words sometimes a little too honest for us, but only they are allowed to address us. Admittedly, parenting isn’t always sunny—besides all these wonderful moments, it’s obviously also exhausting. But as a parent, you’re also regularly reminded that the little ones are worth it.
