For Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the tax advisor and property manager of his constituency in Potsdam, the time has come at just the right time. When the first LNG terminal in Lubmin opened in January, which Knabe and Wagner hurriedly opened, he praised the project as an example of how fast things can happen in Germany.
