Three fashion trends making a comeback, according to Copenhagen Fashion Week | Vogue Germany

Fashion

After a rocket launch and years of triumph as a trend in the 1950s, things have calmed down a bit in the last few years when it comes to cropped trousers. Instead of paying attention to the length, last season everything revolved around the width and height of the perfect trousers. But after almost everyone realizes that skinny pants belong on the substitutes bench (unless skinny jeans are worn that way), there’s finally a little more room for other pant styles in our wardrobe. Our prediction: Capri (as woven pants or Capri jeans) will be back and have a big comeback tour next year at the latest. Please prepare in advance.

#2: Dresses and skirts over pants

For many millennials, current fashion trends are like a trip back to their youth. And if you trust the impressions that shaped the first day of Copenhagen Fashion Week, the topic of layering will soon play an important role again in our everyday fashion life. It was actually only a matter of time before we could finally pair party dresses and skirts with baggy jeans again. It was, after all, the ultimate red carpet dress code that all the Y2K stars of the era actually wore. Saks Potts has repeatedly shown on the runway how the Disney Channel look back then will still work in 2024.

#3: Layered tops

In the 2000s, there was hardly anything that wasn’t drawn on top of each other. At the forefront: tank tops, of course. And given haute couture fans’ continued obsession with basics (the success of the Prada tank top is legendary), it’s no surprise that the most feared trend of the 2000s is slowly but surely making a comeback onto the streets. We are of course talking about tops with different sleeve lengths in a layered look. We’re sure that deep in your closet you’ll still find one or the other long sleeve, lace or strappy top just waiting to be worn in a double pack. If not, Saks Potts 2024 has the right look for you.
