An almost four-year-old boy who was rescued lifeless from a Bamberg outdoor swimming pool is still in critical condition. The girl is alive, but her condition is unchanged, a police spokesman said Wednesday morning. According to information, however, her life is not in danger.
Rescuers had rescued the lifeless boy from the stadium swimming pool on Tuesday evening. Swimmers discovered the girl at the bottom of the hot tub, police said. He was revived by bathhouse staff and then taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The course of the incident is not yet clear and is being investigated. At the request of the prosecutor’s office, an expert was called in, he said.
