New release of OnePlus, this time to reinforce its mid-range for the summer. It’s about the new OnePlus Nord CE 5G which, in practice, comes to replace the previous OnePlus Nord from the end of 2020. Which it does by incorporating a good number of novelties and maintaining more than reasonable prices, between 300 and 400 euros depending on the version chosen.

Equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen and a 90Hz refresh rate, the correct display of fast-moving scenes is guaranteed. As in other models of the brand, this new mobile also supports HDR10 +.

It is a very thin terminal, with just 7.9 mm thick and a weight of 170 g, lighter than most of the mobile phones of its competition. And all without giving up the 3.5mm mini jack input to connect external headphones. The matte finish guarantees, according to the firm, that our fingerprints will not remain marked on the case. The terminal arrives in three different colors: Charcoal Ink (black), Silver Ray (silver) and Blue Void (blue).

64 megapixel triple camera

In the photography section, the new Nord CE offers a triple rear camera system with a 64 megapixel main sensor and aperture f / 1.79. A camera less, then, than in last year’s model, although with a higher resolution, since the previous Nord stayed at 48 megapixels. It has an 8 megapixel 119 degree wide angle that makes it easy to take panoramic photos, and with a depth sensor for blurring backgrounds in portrait mode.

The terminal has a night mode assisted by Artificial Intelligence, Nightscape, which improves the experience when taking photos in very low light. The front camera, meanwhile, is 16 megapixels.

As for the processor, we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750 5G, a chip chosen by a good number of brands for its mid-range and that is up to 20% faster than the previous generation. It is accompanied by 6, 8 or 12 GB of Ram memory and 128 or 256 GB of memory for storage, depending on the version chosen.

The battery, 4,500 milliamperes, almost 10% larger than the old Nord, comes with a Warp Charge 30T Plus fast charging system, capable of providing up to 70% charge in just thirty minutes. The equipment comes pre-installed Oxygen OS11, with improvements in dark mode or zen mode and optimized to make it easier to use the terminal with one hand.

The new OnePlus Nord CE 5G will be available in Spain from June 21, although it can be reserved in advance starting today.

Their prices are as follows: 299 euros for the version with 6GB + 128GB; 329 euros for the version with 8GB + 128GB; and 399 euros for the version with 12GB and 2565GB.
