This weekend kicks off in the bay of Gijón, the Spring Trophy for sailing and cruising, the tests are carried out by the Real Club Astur de Regatas. Six days are scheduled for both categories, which will be held throughout the months of March, April and May.
On Saturday at 12.30 pm the dinghy fleet will be in charge of opening the Trophy, in which the classes: Optimist, Laser, Feva and Snipe compete. It is planned to hold two races per day, under a trapeze route, or with a pole depending on the intensity of the wind with an expected duration of approximately 50 minutes.
One more year the Spring Trophy is in charge of opening the cruise regatta calendar in Asturias. A long-haul test in which the bulk of the Gijón cruise fleet take part.
On Sunday at 1:00 p.m. it is planned to give the signal of attention in the bay of San Lorenzo to the first of the six scheduled appointments. Five of which will take place in Gijón, to which must be added a round trip coastal route between Gijón and Luanco scheduled for the last day.
