Dubai’s last name could be ‘the city of records’. Among others, of course, the tallest building in the world, inaugurated on January 4, 2010. Or the tallest hotel, the Gevora, located at 356 meters (75 floors). And many others less known. Since the end of March, the city has another official record, according to Guinness World Records– The tallest outdoor infinity pool in the world.
On March 24, this body certified the record for the spectacular swimming pool of the Address Beach Resort, located at 293.90 m, on the roof of the 77th floor, with views over Bluewater Island and the Ain Dubai Ferris wheel, Palm Jumeirah Beach, Marina Beach, Burj Al Arab and the Persian Gulf.
The rooftop pool at the Address Beach Resort was completed in February 2020 and has a flooded area of approximately 560 square meters. It has an area of 409 square meters suitable for swimming, a hammock edge in the water of 93 square meters, and a sunken water fountain area of 57 square meters.
The pool has a length of 94.84 m, a width of 16.50 m and an exact height of 293.906 m. The swimmable part is approximately 75 meters long, with a depth of between 1.0 and 1.2 meters.
The hotel opened on December 18, 2020. It has 217 rooms and suites; 443 furnished and serviced apartments, as well as 478 unfurnished residential apartments.
