Trump pardons Levandowski, the engineer sentenced to prison for stealing secrets from Google

Anthony Levandowski, sentenced to 18 months in prison last August for stealing trade secrets from Alphabet, the parent of Google, will not have to serve his sentence. The name of the engineer is among those chosen by the (outgoing) president of the United States, Donald Trump, for the granting of a pardon. “Levandowski has paid a significant price for his shares and plans to dedicate his talents to promoting the public good,” said a statement released by the White House last night.
