With the “Walk a Mile” collection and campaign, Zalando launches a new shoe collection inclusive of designer brands Filler Pieces, Rejina Pyo, Holzweiler, MISBHV, Elleme, GCDS AND Corner house Latta. The collection focuses primarily on designer brands that are spearheading a shift towards an inclusive assortment within fashion, offering customers the opportunity to purchase shoes in an expanded range of sizes from 35 to 46.

High heels in size 46 – the new shoes offer a wide range of sizes

Whether loafers, boots or pumps, a total of 14 models are offered, which are based on different styles. This includes high heels, which often don’t come in large sizes, therefore excluding some people. “The collection is another step in our journey to offer a truly inclusive shopping experience. This collection would not have been possible without the great collaboration with the seven designer brands with whom we have been able to realize this vision,” said Lena-Sophie Röper, Director Designer & Luxury at Zalando.

Eckhaus Latta boots for 500 euros.

Rejina Pyo clogs at 495 euros.

But not only are the products diverse and inclusive, the campaign also emphasizes diversity: the campaign features English-born mental health model Reece King and Raya Martigny, model and advocate for gender diversity in the fashion industry, Brazilian DJ Slim Soledad, who is a member of the queer art collective Chernobyl and American model Maggie Maurer, inclusive designs.

Sabot Holzweiler at 510 euros.

GCDS ankle boots for 990 euros.

The “Mule Heels” by GCDS for 740 euros.

The collection will be May 8, 2023 exclusively to Zalando launched in all 25 Zalando markets and is a small step towards a big goal: genderless fashion for everyone.
