If you have thin hair, you definitely shouldn’t ask your hairdresser for a cool shade, even if it’s trendy. Cool shades like ash blonde or light brown make thin sections of hair stand out.
Warm shades that shimmer gold react to the sun with many more reflections. This causes the hair to visually appear fuller and thicker. If you still want a cool shade, ask your hairdresser for advice on whether it is possible to add warm highlights.
